Reports: Mother Arrested after Leaving 5-Month-Old Baby in Hot Car

A 5-month-old baby girl was treated and released from White Plains Hospital Wednesday after her mother left her in a hot car in the parking lot of Modell's Sporting Goods on Boston Post Road in Port Chester, according to Westchester News 12 and The Journal News . The child's mother, a 32-year-old Rye resident, was arrested at the scene and charged with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.
