Clay Art Center In Port Chester Offers Workshop For Building Planters

The six-week course called Home Grown will meet Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. during Jan. 23 through Feb. 27. Participants will create new homes for plants and garden creations while discovering hand-building techniques best suited for specific plants. The class also will explore the various forms and functions of terracotta garden pots.
