Port Chester Burglary Suspect Convicted After Settling Suit With Village

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. A Port Chester man was convicted this week in Westchester County Court of second-degree burglary stemming from an incident in 2013 when a boy returned home to find the defendant in his upstairs bathroom. A jury found Carlos Velasquez, 41, guilty of second-degree burglary and second-degree escape, felonies.
