Port Chester High School Students Receive Jazz Musicianship Honors

Two Port Chester High School seniors, Brooke Pietrafesa and Isabella Roca, were recently chosen to play trumpet in the Westchester All-County Jazz Ensemble, school officials and Port Chester High band director Robert Vitti announced Thursday. The pair will perform in the 25th annual Westchester County School Music Association's All-County Jazz Festival, at Edgemont High School on Friday, March 20. Additionally, Pietrafesa, Roca and trombonist John Montemurro were chosen for the New York State Band Directors' Association's High School Honor Jazz Ensemble, and trombonist Charles Simmons was selected as an alternate.
