Police: Westchester Man, 33, Illegally Collected Thousands in Unemployment Benefits

Osvaldo Lopez, 33, of Port Chester was arrested on felony grand larceny and related charges Thursday in connection with his alleged collection of more than $7,000 in unemployment benefits in 2012, according to state police. Lopez is alleged to have created false business records stating he was unemployed between July and November of that year, when authorities say he was "gainfully employed."
